USA JOBS – Phlebotomist – Roper St. Francis Healthcare
Job Description:
Organizes blood collection work completes outpatient registrations, processes blood samples, and educates new hires and students. Performs phlebotomy operations on inpatients, outpatients, and client accounts.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or an equivalent level of education.
Phlebotomy experience of at least one year is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Knowledge/Skills: Phlebotomy skills and knowledge are a requirement (school, externship, prior employment).
Using typical office supplies and equipment must be able to (PCs, telephones, faxes, etc.). Must be organized and have good communication abilities. The ability to function well under pressure and in a short amount of time is required.
Other: Information connected to the job must be kept strictly secret.
Contacts: Requires the capacity for effective collaboration with patients, the general public, and all other medical specialists.
