USA JOBS – Freight Forwarder – Headford Group Ltd:
You will be in charge of handling all operations and customer service responsibilities for processing the freight documentation.
Functions & Duties:
Ensures that all export shipments are correctly recorded by coordinating with partners and agents. All paperwork for direct shipments and outgoing consolidations should be sorted, processed, and distributed. To determine the most effective and timely way to carry freight for forwarding and collection, investigate several modes of transportation. To get rates and assurance of collection, haggle with shipping lines, airlines, and transportation firms. When necessary, arrange for local collections for customers. Send customers invoices. Make all of the preparations outlined in the advance information to ensure the seamless transit of export freight. Respond to internal and external requests for quotes, including those from international partners. Execute customer service tasks involving correspondence with clients and international partners, emails, faxes, etc. Ensure that customer service standards and levels are being met by helping to establish customer service policies and processes. carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
Education & Experience:
Minimum necessary GED or a high school diploma capable of using Microsoft Office programs. Ability to determine freight, storage, and other costs using simple math.
